How to Avoid Covid-19 contagion in our prisons in Mexico?

The Covid-19 pandemic made visible long-standing problems such as overcrowding in prisons and the lack of minimum living conditions in Mexico, leading many countries to take measures to mitigate the effects of the health crisis through the massive release of a certain prison population and the minimization of new inmate population.

This is a research piece done by our researchers Vianney Fernández and Ana Cárdenas which translated into one of our recurring “Justicia a Debate” webinars at WJP Mexico.

You can watch the whole webinar and the research note in the following link which is in Spanish - Evitar contagios en nuestras cárceles, asunto de justicia - World Justice Project (México)
