Huge event on Open Data about Covid19, today in Italy

Dear all,
I am reaching out to share with you a brief note: an event organized by the campaign #datiBeneComune (“data common goods”) will take place this afternoon from 5pm to 8pm (CEST). More than 170 Italian civil society organizations joined the campaign and 50k signatures have been collected by the petition (in less than 6 months, the campaign was launched in November 2020).

As some of you already knows, we are dealing with procurement data for Covid response with our project AppaltiPOP, but of course we need data! That’s why today, more than 30 organizations - including our onData, Action Aid and Transparency Italia (leaders of the campaign), Presa Diretta (a major investigative TV show), GIMBE (one of the most important research center for healthcare) - will send their messages to the Italian Institutions, asking for more and better data about the covid pandemic and recovery management.

We are so proud of what we are doing and achieving here, so this message is just to share with you the result of our effort. The event will be in Italian of course, but if you like to give a look at it or to share it with your colleagues, here is the link: (or youtube: DatiBeneComune - 50.000 buone ragioni per liberarli tutti - YouTube ).

All my best,

Thank you for sharing the event and congratulations! Will the event be posted online afterwards?
